International Necronautical
Society The INS was launched in 1999, with a manifesto
declaring: 'Death is a type of space, which we intend to map, enter, colonise
and, eventually, inhabit.' Using the Office
as temporary headquarters, the INS held a series interviews with writers,
philosophers, artists and performers whose work engages themes which resonate
with the concerns of the INS. The interviews were open to the public and
transcripts are published online.
