Marlene Haring arranged the plinths and chairs for the prizegiving ceremony, including a back-projection screen in front of the lectern. Peter Weibel read a speech in praise of Marlene Haring. His shadow and the video What Matters is What You See (Wichtig ist, was man sieht) for B. J., in which Haring's expression silently changes from laughing to crying and back again, were projected during the speech.
